In Riviera Beach, Hurst Chapel (AMEC) believes in sharing God’s self-sacrificial love for the lost, lonely, and broken and works to cultivate a commitment towards community outreach as an expression of worship. Providing resource listings, government agency referrals, and partnering with the Health Council of Southeast Florida, are several ways Hurst Chapel responds to and educates those in need and who seek assistance. In the community Hurst Chapel promotes and hosts fundraisers, scholarship drives, and health conscious events while providing the details online through the our website hurstchapelamec.org. In addition to an outside and public marquee that keeps those who pass by our location on Silver Beach Rd & S Ave updated and inspired through either events or scripture, we also utilize word of mouth, pulpit announcements, and subcommittee engagement to spread the news of projects and initiatives that impact the community we are grateful to serve. 

Hurst Chapel will gain notoriety for helping and healing, and the outreach ministry goals will be accomplished by implementing promotional strategies and event coordination to secure the proper channels for advertising. Our older members and seniors within the neighborhoods are integral for us to reach and grow with because their knowledge and vision can be passed down generationally and connecting them to the youth and younger adults creates an immeasurable dynamic that fills gaps in knowledge, anxiety, and with a Holistic Ministry in Action.

Local networking with City Officials and prominent business owners will definitely assist in the introduction of the Holistic Ministry and allow us to bring the total support needed to those in need.
